The Wedding

I have been busy making tissue paper butterflies and crepe paper 'rose petals' for my friend Shabana's forthcoming wedding. I have streaked each butterfly and petal with gold glitter as Shabana's colour scheme is red, orange and gold.  I have never been to an Asian wedding before and am thrilled to have been asked to make the table decorations which she collected yesterday.  They looked stunning and I shall be making some to hang up at Christmas.  I have also punched out hundreds of little hearts in red, orange and gold.  These have also been smudged with a bit of gold glitter and will look gorgeous scattered on the tables.
