The brown brick house and picket fence was actually the box from my breakfast cereal. The tiny conifer is a piece of chenille stem

      Thanks Diane. I am planning on making a winter village now that I have sussed out any potential sticking points... think glitter, icicles and frost. It should be beautiful when it is finished and I plan to bring it out every year at Christmas
