Embellished coffee tins

I have in my craft stash a number of large catering size coffee tins which are crying out for a makeover.  Tomorrow I am planning to paint and decoupage them all and use them as craft caddies. They will come in very handy for storing odds and ends of my many craft supplies and I am wondering how useful they will be for storing gardening implements.  I have tons of string,  seeds, pegs and labels that would look much neater if they were somehow contained..  I will post a few photo's in a day or two
