Upcyled off cuts

My son cut the bottom from his jeans as he prefers to wear them as shorts during the good weather.  He left the off cuts on the table in case I could put them to use so I used my die cutting machine to cut some denim birds. I've used a fine bead of fabric glue to stick two together. I plan to stuff them with dried lavender and blanket stitch all around them, I might decorate them with beads and buttons to hang in my wardrobe.
