Felt flowers

I made these yesterday for a group of children that I will be working with over the coming weeks.  They are intended as a colour matching activity and the children will take them home at the end of the activity.  Why not get  your children to make their own flowers and then go for a flower hunt in your neighbourhood.. Use straws as stalks so that the children can't hurt themselves if they should trip up. I have used felt but you could just as easily make them from paper
