Handbag made from fabric scraps and old newspapers

The end result

I attached a strap and embellished the bag this afternoon.  In good upcycling fashion the strap is made from an old shoelace and some old o rings that have languished in my stash for many years. The fabric flower was a scrap from my stash and the grey flower was cut from a plastic bottle

I have had great fun this morning turning an old newspaper into a clutch bag.  I am planning to add a few embellishments to the bag and possibly a piece of chain to use as a strap. Actually I quite like the woven newspaper on its own, :-)
