Woven recycled newspaper baskets

Wouldn't these look nice painted in Christmas colours and filled with sweets?

Made from newspaper and a piece of card cut from a cereal packet.  Don't make the mistake that I made.  I used matt emulsion which was lurking in the back of my garage. It would be far better to use acrylic paint. I am now experimenting with different shapes.
